The fact that he is clearly better than Cooper Rush just amazes me and makes me question this teams ability to evaluate the QB position considering the quality of backups.
I mean at some point I have to ask is it the playbook is it how Lamar prefers to play. I know on a key short yardage down that on the option Lamar is keeping it. I can bet the defense knows it by this point as well. Lamar playing hero ball is part of his game for better or worse.
You cant use either your teammate or your opponent as a springboard to jump higher. I didnt see the play but its most commonly called when trying to jump over the long snapper.
I dont know a RB who will be able to hold onto it after having a helmet hit the arm to push it away and then immediately after have the ball punched. That was just unlucky.
