Heard a handful of Texans players speak about Diggs and it seems less cancerous and more he's got a distinct and loud personality which some appreciate and others not so much. Seems difficult for a brand new young staff to bring in, even Vrabel struggled with him last offseason
Texans number 2 will be Jayden Higgins. Tank was pretty bad after his rookie season with multiple devastating injuries, everyone in Houston loves him but we cannot count on him.
I think the ravens and Texans wr Corp is pretty close. For the Texans health is crucial for Nico and tank and the...
Interesting comp. If Mccoy is in that space than do it! We have a great DB staff, but also a very particular medical staff. Being in Houston, I saw it took a lot of discipline and time for stingley to get to his peak. Definitely a gamble on the player and staff but would be an interesting...
I am in Houston and Texans fans legitimately complain weekly about how bad the Kenyon Green debacle was, trading out of Hamilton and then not selecting Lindy (although this is in hindsight). It's the first thing anyone points to when they argue the GM Caserio stinks
Houston biased here. That Steelers game was dumbfounding, Stroud hadn't fumbled all season. I trust him to be a steady the ship and hit a couple key plays type for this run.
Bias aside, all the teams left are flawed and don't feel like juggernauts. Seems like it happens every few years.
I mean yes the talent on the D is really good. Took some time to build up the identity, which is now the identity for the team. Ideally Burke is able to bring that as a HC. But I also don't think he's the best coaching option out there
I'm in Houston. Burke took over playcalling for Ryans this year and has done a great job. It's most certainly Ryan's defense and he delegated playcalling but Burke could be a good hire if he can bring the right philosophy with him. From all accounts players like him too. I think there are more...
Checking in from Houston, ideally Jags do everyone a favor and lose. If not and it's 4-5 people are mixed on who to face between Pit and Bal. There is a lean towards facing Pit and knocking Arod into retirement, others straight up fear the LJ Henry combo. Regardless hoping Ravens win out and see...
Checking in from Houston, I think they will play to win vs Indy regardless and most likely get the 5/4 matchup unless Jags get caught sleeping. Going to be an interesting final week for sure!
It was obvious in hindsight but Texans offense has been really struggling up until the second half vs Titans. The biggest difference was the lack of pass rush and Stroud with a clean pocket. That's 100% bad Ravens D issue though. Texans D vs Rush and co. was as predictable as you said
Harbs halftime interview was home being really irritated and continued through. I get the bad circumstances but coming out of the bye I hope there are some coaching changes, but remain skeptical until proven otherwise
Heard the hypothetical 2026 3rd or 2027 2nd for Linderbaum. Curious what everyone thinks is a worthwhile deal or if you prefer to pay him if so what would be your price and years
As someone who follows the Texans closely as well, they just had their "Get right" butt whooping on the Titans. I think they'll be playing free and fast. They annihilated Rush on the Cowboys last year so it's a familiar face even with a new team. Rookie RB Woody Marks had a huge breakout with 2...
