The College Football Thread

I love my Ducks but we're such a soft team. Yeah it's fun to watch our offense when we're clicking, but when we play physical teams, we fucking fold. Until this changes, we'll never win anything of significance.
 
Yep... Belichick will be back in the NFL next season. Or this may have completely killed any chance of him returning at all. Who knows lol. Awful first game.
 
Got a friend who's a die hard Michigan fan. Won't waste an opportunity to shit on Ohio State any chance he gets. He was like, "After that long investigation into 'sign stealing' where Ohio St wanted desperately for the NCAA to strip us of our title, it’s going to be glorious when their title is actually vacated. Rule 1: if a player is deemed ineligible, every game he played in is vacated. This will be epic."

I'm like, oh word? What happened?

He goes and I quote: "I won’t write a whole dissertation on here, but OSU tried to sabotage us from the inside. A player transferred from us to them and on his way out tried to entrap coaches while recording them, he also lied under oath about the allegations and that was proven in the NCAA’s report. This player was the informant for the PI firm that handed the case to the NCAA, that PI firm was ran by Christopher Day yes Ryan Day’s brother. This players family’s house was in foreclosure on a 1500/month mortgage after his transfer to OSU his family moved into a mansion that rented for 7,500/month. Our LB Coach Chris Partridge that got fired over this for false allegations is already set to sue the NCAA, this will get ugly because OSU will be put in front of the grand jury. That said player appeared in all 14 games last year and that would mean forfeiting every win."

Indiana is the real deal. Strong on both trenches. Very well coached. Heisman-winning QB. They might fuck around and win the entire thing.

if they weren't favourites before they have to be runaway favourites now

ohio state's out
oregon didn't look that impressive earlier
miami's on a really fun cinderella run but they're not going to be favourites in any game they play
this is the least "talented" (from a prospect perspective) georgia team in a while and ole miss just lost their head coach...

wild that they're so strong without a ton of bonafide elite nfl prospects - just a lot of dudes and an awesome culture and coaching group - and it helps when you have the best QB too...
